About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse - Accident & Emergency, you will deliver proficient, person-centred care within a fast-paced clinical environment, supporting patients through assessment, intervention and ongoing care. You will monitor care plans, coordinate services and oversee care delivery within the team to ensure positive outcomes.

You will support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager across clinical, education and service delivery activities, contribute to service coordination and resolve care-related issues. You will also teach and support staff and students, participate in research and quality improvement activities, and provide shift-by-shift leadership. Portfolio responsibilities will align with your professional development, enabling you to advance your clinical expertise.

About You

* You must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* You must be a registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full-time equivalent, post-registration experience.
* You must have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
* You must have experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
