About the Role
We’re seeking a Family and Domestic Violence Case Worker to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children impacted by family and domestic violence.
In this role, you will:
- Provide trauma-informed case management and safety planning
- Support clients through crisis and short-term recovery pathways
- Coordinate wraparound services, referrals, and advocacy
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
About You
We welcome applicants with community services or case management experience. Formal qualifications are not required.
You will bring:
- Experience supporting vulnerable clients
- Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage risk assessments and safety planning
- Commitment to cultural safety and trauma-informed care
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those with lived experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
You will need (or be willing to obtain):
- National Police Clearance
- Working With Children Check
- Up-to-date Influenza vaccination
