Who are we looking for?
An innovative and motivated Head Chef with a focus on food safety and excellent customer service.To be successful, you'll need:
* Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate within 5yrs of validity
* First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Previous experience in mass-catering environments is essential (volume cooking)
* Previous FIFO Sous Chef or Head Chef experience is highly desired but not essential
* Excellent knowledge of HACCP
* Prior Sous or Head Chef experience is essential
* Australian Citizenship or full working rights in Australia
* You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months
About the role;
The successful candidate will be expected to:
* Provide leadership, coordinate, and support staff in maintaining a high-quality catering services for our FIFO client sites
* You will achieve success by consulting with stakeholders on a regular basis while driving a high level of performance within your Team
* Lead the catering function with safety at the forefront by adhering to HACCP and operational safety procedures, creating a strong safety culture within your team is fundamental to your success
