As a Hospitality Cook you will
Handle daily food preparation undertake duties assigned by the Head Chef and contribute to daily kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
Assist in all aspects of planning preparing and cooking food items with the highest level of quality standards.
Ensure adherence to all health and food safety compliance and regulations.
Assist in the basic maintenance of equipment and undertake regular upkeep of area to ensure that operational equipment is available and working.
To be successful youll have
Completion of a Trades Certificate or completion of year 12 with relevant work experience; or
Equivalent relevant experience or combination of relevant experience and education / training.
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
Current Certificate in food handling.
Special Requirements
This position requires the incumbent to work outside business hours.
This position is a flexible ordinary hours span position which offers additional loadings to salary as per clause 43.3 of Deakins Enterprise Agreement.
This position requires the incumbent to hold a current Working with Children Check.
