An exciting leadership opportunity exists within the Sugar Coast Cluster for an innovative and strategic Head of Department - Curriculum to lead curriculum implementation across four schools in Bundaberg.

Step Into Your Next Chapter

As Head of Department - Curriculum, you will provide strategic leadership to ensure high-quality, aligned curriculum implementation across all four schools.

This role requires a highly organised and effective communicator who can confidently lead a coaching culture, build staff capability and operate with both collaboration and autonomy.

You will demonstrate a deep understanding of curriculum and pedagogy, and guide staff to effectively support highly capable learners as well as students with complex learning needs.

The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate

* Strong organisational, time management and communication skills
* Proven capability to lead and sustain a coaching culture
* Expertise in curriculum knowledge and implementation
* Capacity to lead teams while also contributing effectively as a collaborative team member
* Confidence in independent decision-making and high-level task execution
