Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, and delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe workplace.
Responsibilities
- Track and manage inventory
- Inspect warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe
- Manage warehouse staff
- Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient workflow processes
- Ensure daily operations meet and exceed performance metrics
- Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order assembly, packaging, and dispatch of goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage inventory levels
- Implement and enforce company policies and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and improve productivity
- Train new employees on warehouse processes and equipment operation
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with inventory or shipments promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
- Solid knowledge of warehouse operations and management best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
