Job Description:
This role involves leading the preparation and review of bid request packages, developing project contracts operating procedures, and ensuring subcontract compliance with project requirements. The successful candidate will also assist in the completion of various tasks required by the Contract/Subcontract Management Guidebook, Standard Work Process Procedures, and automated subcontract management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule
- Gather and compile support data for document preparation and subcontract management
- Monitor areas of subcontract performance
- Conduct investigations and inquiries into specific subcontract problems
- Organize materials for meetings, presentations, and training sessions
- Prepare periodic status reports
Subcontract Formation:
The successful candidate will be responsible for forming and awarding small value, routine-type subcontracts. This will include assisting with negotiations, preparing commercial bid summaries, and securing approvals according to established procedures.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience, or 9-12 years of relevant work experience are required. A seasoned professional with a full understanding of area specialization is essential.
