Your role
The role is responsible for providing expert support to business units utilising the Pega Enterprise Platform. Included in the role's responsibilities is to ensure that applications are kept up to date with hotfixes and enhancements deployed in a timely manner.
What you'll do
Pega Platform Support is an exciting team responsible for supporting DCJ's Pega Applications and Enterprise Platform, which has become the large-scale CMS Platform of choice for the Department.
You will be required to monitor performance and security logs, manage user audits, collaborate with managed service providers, advise on project work, adhere to DCJ's policies and procedures, as well as perform other system administration tasks. This role reports to the Technical Team Lead - Pega.
The Senior System Administrator (Pega) will provide expert support in the following areas:
* Pega Cloud Operational support, Maintenance, and Enhancements
* Support and troubleshoot application issues
* Provide recommendations and deliver minor enhancement work
* Monitor environment performance and availability
* Assist business units with UAT for deployments
* Provide knowledge and assistance to junior team members
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with the applicable technology platform, with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
* This role may require participation in an on-call and/or after-hours work roster to ensure service continuity to clients or maintenance activities outside normal business hours.
In addition to the essential requirements, the successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
* Minimum 2 years' proven experience in a Pega System Administration role
* Competent in managing and maintaining Pega Cloud Environments
