* The successful candidate will be involved in managing the Ghungalu people's spiritual lands alongside them.
* Responsibilities include working with the team to protect, manage, and present natural wonders and cultural treasures in the Duaringa area.
About the Role
* This position involves planning for and delivering the Blackdown Tableland Operational Plan and the Duaringa annual work plan.
* The key responsibilities include operating and maintaining plant and equipment, controlling pest plants and animals, undertaking planned burning and wildfire suppression activities, and maintaining park infrastructure.
* The selected applicant will also manage small projects, undertake compliance duties, and perform various natural and cultural resource management tasks.
* A strong personal work ethic and good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

* Provide on-ground supervision to field-based staff.
* Collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
* Maintain park facilities.
* Control pest species.
* Undertake law enforcement and compliance duties.
* Provide information to park visitors and stakeholders.
* Support and promote the interests of First Nations people.
