**Transport Company Manager**
**Salary: $70k - $90k**

We currently have a position available for a **Transport Company Manager**
The **Transport Company Manager** is ultimately responsible for the safe and cost-effective management of the transport at our Perth and Bunbury branches. In this role you will be responsible for meeting our commitment to our customer through the provision of quality service and operational efficiency.
Working in collaboration with our people, every decision you make will be driven by safety, service and cost, partnering closely with our clients to achieve and exceed operational and financial metrics. You will also take ownership to identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, educate and develop staff in incorporating a Dangerous Goods and Global Freight Forwarding division into the company and adhere to REEF Group policies and procedures.
**Key areas**:
- Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring commitment to Safety, COR and Quality requirements at all times
- Operational responsibility with a focus on driving improvement and innovation
- Effective management and development of direct reports and driver workforce to provide efficiency
- Organising the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel
- Liaising with clients to determine requirements and providing customers with advice and information regarding vehicle type, purchase or hire rates and obligations and handling complaints
- Analyse equipment and operational tasks to deliver productive outcomes through resource utilization, route optimization and subcontractor management.
- Ensure the operation is providing superior service offerings to customers through a proactive approach to relationship management and commitment to achieving contracted KPI's
- Develop and implement advanced growth policies and procedures to promote continuous improvement
**Qualifications**:
Suitable certification or relevant experience
**Experience**:
At least 3 years experience in a similar workplace
