About the Role
Based in Adelaide and reporting to the Finance Manager, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Group Credit Manager to lead our national credit function. You will oversee a team of Credit Managers and Analysts, championing operational excellence across debt collection, account management, order processing, and ledger integrity.
This pivotal role will see you at the forefront of credit risk management, driving process improvement, optimising systems, and delivering meaningful insights that support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities include
·Lead end-to-end credit management for domestic and export accounts, including credit limits, payment terms, and collections strategy
·Coach, manage, and develop a high-performing credit team, ensuring KPI delivery and succession planning
·Oversee customer onboarding and credit approvals, embedding consistent credit risk controls and monitoring high-risk accounts
·Manage order release processes in alignment with credit policies, balancing customer service and risk mitigation
·Ensure ledger accuracy through account reconciliation, aged debt review, and resolution of unallocated cash
·Collaborate with sales and operations teams to manage claims, offsets, and support accurate cash flow forecasting
·Ensure compliance with credit policies, relevant legislation (e.g. PPSA, Privacy Act), and governance requirements
·Oversee insurance coverage and external legal escalation processes to protect company interests
About You
We're seeking an experienced Group Credit Manager with at least five years in credit management or commercial finance and strong team leadership skills. Accreditation with the Australian Institute of Credit Management (AICM) is considered desirable.
You'll have solid expertise in credit risk, collections, and PPSA legislation, with a commercial mindset that balances risk and customer service. Proven skills in credit assessment, collections strategy, ledger accuracy, and driving continuous improvement are essential. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and proficiency with ERP and credit reporting tools complete the profile.
