Job Summary
McDonald's Australia's legal team is seeking a Property Lawyer to support the National Development Group (NDG) with commercial leasing, acquisitions, disposals, development, planning, construction, design, portfolio and asset management functions.
Day‐to‐day Responsibilities
* Provide legal support to the National Development Group for McDonald's Australia.
* Examine risks to the business and recommend solutions for risk mitigation and minimisation.
* Identify opportunities to improve legal processes, policies and procedures to encourage continuous improvement.
* Report to the FIRB and manage FIRB reports and programs.
* Advise on development matters including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and McDonald's Australia's asset portfolio.
Key Success Factors & Qualifications
* 3–5 years post‐qualification experience practising commercial property law (previous in‐house corporate, mid, or top‐tier law firm experience highly regarded).
* Proven capacity to manage a business portfolio with diverse functions, needs and people.
* Proven ability to work autonomously and make decisions efficiently and independently.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills used to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
