Overview
Location: Riverina Murray area – Wagga. Permanent part time or casual roles available with flexible hours and days. Pay rate from $33.15 to $42.88 per hour plus superannuation and km reimbursement (99 cents per km). Not-for-profit employer, so you may benefit from lower tax.
Responsibilities
- Support and connect with clients, assisting with in-home tasks as per the care plan (e.g., cleaning, tidying, washing).
- Transport to appointments and shopping.
- Meal preparation.
- Social support or respite for family/carers.
- Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (where qualified/fully trained).
Qualifications and Requirements
- A kind heart and genuine passion for high-quality elderly care.
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
- Good communication skills.
- A reliable team player.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety.
- An Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential).
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential; traineeship available).
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check.
