How you will contribute As an sales-focused Customer Service Representative, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our customers from their initial inquiry through to quote preparation and order processing. You'll act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring a smooth and professional experience at every touchpoint. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Providing a high level of customer service with timely and accurate processing of customer orders, quotations and enquiries Coordinating, preparing, and submitting high-quality responses and solutions to quotes, proposals, tenders and enquiries Support sales generation through qualification, preparation, follow up and conversion of leads and quotations Working closely with External Sales Teams to support sales generation and business development Develop strong and positive relationships with key customers Delivering exceptional, friendly, and professional customer service across phone and email Providing accurate information on pricing, lead times, and technical details Entering, maintaining, and reviewing pricing in the CRM system Working closely with production and operations to enable timely processing of orders to maximise delivery on time in full About you You are sales and customer-focused, organised and possess a positive can-do attitude that will contribute positively to the team and customer service culture. You bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and can confidently support both technical and commercial aspects of the customer journey. You will bring: Experience in sales, sales support or customer service—ideally but not essential within manufacturing, steel, engineering or construction industries Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated success in managing customer interactions and sales-related activities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using CRM and estimating tools Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering great service If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and want to be part of a team that values quality and customer satisfaction, we’d love to hear from you.
