Rewarding role for a senior lawyer with complex insurance litigation and high-end legal advisory experience.

* Acting for government clients in personal injuries, public liability and medical negligence matters;
* Advising on risk, liability and resolution strategies;
* Preparing complex pleadings, applications, affidavits and submissions;
* Appearing in court on interlocutory matters; and
* Providing authoritative legal advice to government clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
* Admission as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland with a minimum of 8 years' PAE demonstrated insurance and litigation experience;
* Deep understanding of relevant legislation and court processes including the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules, Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002 and Civil Liability Act 2003;
* Proven ability to manage complex files and provide authoritative legal advice with a high degree of autonomy;
* Excellent drafting, analysis and advocacy capabilities;
* Experience advising sophisticated clients on complex matters.
