About the Role
You will be a Finance Business Partner, providing comprehensive financial partnering and analysis to aid the Business Unit (BU) Leader and Functional Managers in decision-making and achieving business objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Working with the BU Leader and Functional Managers to provide business partnering and financial information, tools, and analysis to aid in decision-making.
* Preparing BU quarterly budgets and forecasts and reviewing them with the BU Leader and the Group Financial Controller.
* Preparing and distributing monthly financial and management reporting to the BU Leader and key management team members.
* Preparing BU reporting requirements, including monthly NR Reports, Quarterly Analytics, and Attrition Reports.
* Supporting bid teams in the preparation of complex bids and tenders, assessing financial and revenue recognition implications of bid structures.
* Participating in project review meetings with Project Managers, reviewing hours expended and estimates to complete, monitoring project billing milestones, and reporting WIP balance and aging or deferred revenue positions.
* Preparing project revenue in accordance with revenue recognition checklists and company policies, preparing NR reports and variance analysis.
* Overseeing Customer billings processes and overall revenue management for the BU.
* Reviewing EBITA variance analysis of BU financial results against the budget and providing commentary for review.
* Reviewing and authorizing monthly, quarterly, and annual software maintenance invoicing and project invoicing.
* Ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and procedures and assisting with audit responses as required.
* Training Functional Managers and Finance staff in processes and procedures as needed.
What You'll Bring to the Role
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A CPA qualification or equivalent.
* Strong experience in financial analysis and reporting.
* The ability to review and approve complex bids and tenders.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to monitor and report on project financials.
* Experience in preparing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
* Strong communication skills to effectively partner with the BU Leader and key management team members.
* Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and financial policies.
* The ability to train and mentor finance staff and managers in financial processes and procedures.
