**About the Role**:
The Platform Development team provides the following key services:
- Enterprise Platform Device Provisioning Service - Design, develop and provide configuration to support provisioning of servers and end-user devices.
**Determining your suitability for the Role**:
To determine your suitability for the role, you will be assessed on the following key capabilities that link to the 'key duties and accountabilities' for this role:
- Performing administration, design, implementation and support tasks specifically within the context of Platform Development and administration.
- The ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults with ICT services including, Endpoint Provisioning, Deployment, Active Directory, Group Policy and a range of cloud technologies.
- The ability to consult and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Document systems, workflows and user guides according to Departmental templates and standards.
- Contribute towards required documentation for project delivery items within Platform Development
- Proven time management, communication, planning and prioritisation skills that align to project delivery.
- The ability to provide training and mentoring to peers in technical processes.
- Align work practices to the Department's ITIL processes including Change, Incident, and Problem management
Previous experience with or background in the following technologies and systems is highly desirable (not mandatory):
- Active Directory, Group Policy
- Microsoft Azure, including; Azure Active Directory, IaaS and PaaS
- Microsoft Windows image development.
- IT Security and Practices
- Current Windows Server and Workstation operating systems administration experience
- Current Apple iOS/iPadOS management experience
- Scripting technologies, such as AppleScript and PowerShell.
- Structured troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- There may be a requirement to undertake work outside of standard business hours to support implementation and support activities
