About the Role
The Casual Kids Gymnastics Supervisor will design and develop gymnastics programs for children aged 18 months to 10 years, including Toddler Gym, Kindy Gym, Junior Gym, Primary Gym, and Advanced Primary Gym. At Perth High Performance Centre and Arena Joondalup, the supervisor will deliver classes, manage lesson plans, and timetabling, while ensuring a safe learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver age‐appropriate gymnastics lessons for children.
* Co‐ordinate lesson plans and schedule classes.
* Provide hands‐on coaching, instruction, and supervision of enrolled children.
* Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
* Attend meetings and participate in programme reviews.
* Manage transition periods and cover classes on Sundays as required.
* Perform administrative duties related to programme delivery.
* Adapt to changing work patterns and expand supervising shifts Monday‐Friday.
Qualifications
* Current KinderGym Beginner or Intermediate Coach Accreditation, preferably from Gymnastics Australia.
* Experience as a gymnastics coach for children.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Eligibility Requirements
* Right to work in Australia for the duration of the employment contract.
* National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
* Current KinderGym accreditation.
* Availability to work at least 15 hours per week at Perth High Performance Centre, Mount Claremont.
