Financial Services Director - Accounting Advisory
Our accounting advisory services practice supports and assists clients with complex accounting matters, commercial implications, and solution development. We work with public and private businesses, banks, and law firms.
Our team of experienced professionals has a strong track record of supporting clients through regulatory and reporting matters, transactions, restructures, new accounting standards, and restatements. As a Financial Services Director, you will help lead our accounting advisory services practice, with responsibility for selling and delivering services.
You will have a deep understanding of the accounting advisory process, particularly regarding the application of accounting standards, problem definition, and solution development. You will be able to navigate complex stakeholder arrangements and help clients balance commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
• Building long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities that lead to significant sales or referrals.
• Developing specific marketing plans and activities that keep pace with changes in the market.
• Supporting senior team members and providing knowledge, experience, and support at critical points throughout projects.
• Managing project budgets and leading projects in complex environments.
• Retaining key clients and using industry knowledge and experience to identify innovative solutions.
• Managing a client and project portfolio, negotiating fees, and delivering against commercial objectives.
• Working with practice leaders to facilitate cross-functional teams and address complex client needs.
• Determining methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinating team activities.
• Reviewing written analyses, reports, and presentations to ensure quality products and timely delivery.
• Acting as a role model for mentoring, coaching, and learning.
