Stock Controller - Aged Care

Chempro Chemists has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a full-time stock controller to work within our dedicated Aged Care team. This position offers the chance to work in a rapidly expanding industry with the use of the latest technologies in pharmacy services.
Located in Bundall, but servicing Nursing Homes across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and Northern NSW, the ideal candidate will assist our pharmacists in servicing multiple nursing homes. On the job training will be provided. You will have the opportunity to become intimately experienced with some of the newest technologies and procedures in the industry.
The position will involve:
* Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, tracking inventory movements, and ensuring stock accuracy.
* Order Processing: Processing purchase orders for new stock and managing the receipt and storage of incoming goods.
* Stock Replenishment: Identifying when stock levels are low and initiating orders to replenish supplies.
* Quality Control: addressing any issues with damaged or substandard items.
* Reporting: Generating reports on stock levels, purchase orders, and other relevant inventory data.
* Pricing: Maintaining pricing for the retail store, OTC, and private dispensary lines
* Communication: Liaising with suppliers, and staff to ensure efficient stock management.
* Brand compliance: ensuring that brands are maintained in compliance with Chempro policies
* Catalogue and Planograms: maintaining planograms, ordering for catalogues and applying catalogue promotion files
Key Skills:
* Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in inventory records and data entry.
* Organizational skills: Managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Communication skills: Clearly communicating with suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* Problem-solving skills: Identifying and resolving issues related to stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or delays.
* Negotiation skills: Working with suppliers to obtain favourable pricing and delivery terms.
* Computer skills: Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant systems.
* Physical fitness: Physically handling stock.
* Work structure: Integrate into a busy team environment.
Requirements:
· Dispensary Technician Qualification preferred but not essential
· Experience with FRED preferred but not essential
· Aged Care experience is preferable but not essential
· Established computer proficiency
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
