Supporting large-scale operations and upcoming infrastructure projects, this site plays a critical role in delivering essential goods to stores and customers nationwide. They’re seeking an experienced Senior Safety Specialist to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a site-based role that will see you act as a key stakeholder within the project team, supporting major contractor activities. You will be a trusted voice on all matters of safety, risk, and compliance. You’ll bring a proactive approach to risk management, safety observations, and site readiness in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage contractor WHS compliance on site Conduct toolbox talks, safety observations and risk assessments Ensure contractors hold relevant licences, tickets and site inductions Report and follow up on any WHS non-conformances Guide the project team on WHS legislation and best practice Maintain accurate WHS records and reporting Flexibility to travel to NSW if required Availability to work flexible hours, depending on contractor schedules About You Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum) Proven WHS experience in FMCG, logistics or manufacturing environments Strong understanding of contractor management and compliance Confident communicator with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders Adaptable and flexible – able to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Willingness to travel and adjust hours to meet operational requirements How to Apply Applications will be reviewed within 48 hours of the job posting.
