About the Role
Join our dynamic Perioperative Service team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager supporting the NUM to lead, coordinate and enhance surgical services. You'll help build a skilled, collaborative team and ensure smooth, safe, and high‐quality patient care every day.
* Lead day‐to‐day theatre operations in the NUM's absence
* Coordinate staff, rosters, and workflow across the unit
* Support clinical care and supervise students and nurses
* Drive team engagement and foster a positive workplace
* Monitor performance and maintain high‐quality standards
About You
You are a motivated and collaborative nurse who thrives in a fast‐paced theatre environment. You enjoy leading teams, supporting staff, and delivering safe, high‐quality care.
* Registered nurse with current practising certificate
* Skilled in team collaboration, problem solving and negotiation
* Experience supervising students and nursing staff
* Knowledge of WH&S, Quality Improvement and clinical standards
* Flexible, innovative and able to prioritise workload effectively
