A leading Australian enterprise organisation based in Brisbane is seeking an experienced CrowdStrike Sensor Deployment Specialist to lead and execute a large-scale deployment of CrowdStrike Falcon sensors across our extensive Linux server environment. Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the deployment of CrowdStrike Falcon sensors across our Linux server infrastructure. Your role will involve working closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation with minimal disruption to business operations. You will develop and maintain deployment documentation, create runbooks, and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams. Additionally, you will troubleshoot deployment issues, ensure compliance with security policies, and report on deployment progress to key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess demonstrated experience in deploying and managing CrowdStrike Falcon sensors within enterprise environments, with particular expertise in Linux server administration across multiple distributions including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and SUSE. You will have proven experience working in large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments and possess strong knowledge of endpoint detection and response solutions and cybersecurity best practices. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with the capability to work independently and manage deployment timelines effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders are crucial for this role.
Highly Desirable Skills
Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management would be highly advantageous for this position. Additionally, familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash, knowledge of enterprise monitoring and logging solutions, experience with change management processes in large organisations, and relevant cybersecurity certifications would be well regarded.
