- Strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative
- Comfortable working both independently and in a small team
What We Offer
- Market-competitive salary package (commensurate with experience)

- A secure long-term role (minimum 2 years)
- The chance to be part of a welcoming island community
- A lifestyle that combines rewarding cattle work with pristine beaches, fishing, and wide-open spaces
About Flinders Island & Lifestyle
Flinders Island sits in Bass Strait, just a short flight from Melbourne or Launceston, but feels a world away. With fewer than 1,000 residents, the island offers:
- Rugged coastlines, stunning beaches, and endless opportunities for fishing, diving, and bushwalking
- A safe, close-knit community where local sports, events, and gatherings bring people together
- Fresh local produce, farmers’ markets, and a slower pace of life that lets you reconnect with the land and sea
Alongside Quoin Farm, our family also operates a small tourism business on the island. This creates further opportunities for employment — perfect for couples or families where a partner may be seeking part-time or seasonal work in hospitality, guiding, or retail.
How to Apply
If you’re ready to bring your skills to a thriving Angus operation and want to immerse yourself in island life, we’d love to hear from you.
