We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi‐Skilled Labourer - Civil to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high‐quality construction and maintenance works on Council roads, drainage systems, and civil infrastructure.
About The Role
You will play a key role in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards while contributing to a collaborative team environment. In this role you will:
* Prepare and clear worksites for civil construction and infrastructure projects
* Undertake maintenance and construction of roads, drainage, and associated civil assets
* Perform earthworks, concreting, asphalt works, formwork, and pipe laying
* Operate small plant and equipment (e.g., compactors, rollers) safely and efficiently
* Operate rigid motor vehicles (up to 15 tonnes GVM)
* Implement and manage traffic control procedures to ensure public and worker safety
* Read and interpret construction plans and accurately record "as constructed" data
* Maintain strong adherence to Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or 5‐10 years' recent industry experience with experience in working with asphalt, concrete and formwork including pipe laying.
* Traffic Management Accreditation (RIIWHS205E - Control Traffic with Stop/Slow Bat and RIIWHS302E - Implement Traffic Management Plans)
* Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's Licence
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Strong experience operating small plant and equipment for road maintenance
* Excellent problem‐solving skills and ability to use initiative
* Good literacy, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Strong understanding and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
Position Details
* Full‐Time, 76 hours fortnight.
* Annual salary: $65,412.00
