 
        
        **About the role**: 
As a Technical Support Specialist at Nova Systems, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our Global Alerting Platform (GAP) clients, ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS), Asset Tracking and Lone Worker Safety solutions. From remote workers and business travellers across the globe, to metro, rural and remote vehicles nationally, our system ensures the safety of people across the globe.
You will work closely with our customers and suppliers, addressing technical issues, providing guidance, managing inventory and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. **What will you be involved in**:
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to IVMS and Lone Worker Safety Systems. 
- Assisting clients in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of our systems. 
- Engaging with suppliers for orders and issues resolution. 
- Conducting regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance. 
- Collaborating with the development team to report and resolve software bugs and issues. 
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for support procedures and FAQs. 
- Training clients on the use and features of our systems. 
- Ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues. 
- Investigating new products and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to our systems. 
- Managing inventory lifecycle from receipt through dispatch and testing of field returns.Keeping up to date with market trends and industry developments to ensure our products remain competitive and cutting-edge.
**What we would like from you**:
- Proven experience in technical support or a related field. 
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
- Strong organisational and administration skills; inventory management experience is a plus. 
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service. 
- Knowledge of vehicle monitoring systems and communication protocols is a plus. 
- Relevant certifications or technical training are advantageous. 
- Ability to research and stay informed about new products and industry trends.
