Your role will be instrumental in ensuring client satisfaction by efficiently managing processes. Previous experience in the Construction Industry and the ability to read and interpret construction plans will be highly regarded.
Position:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Office Administrator to join our team on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the Construction Industry coupled with extensive client management and general office administrator experience.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3-4 years of office administration experience.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Liaising professionally with clients, builders, architects, engineers and Local Government authorities
* Reading and interpreting working drawings
* Intermediate level ability to read and interpret construction plans is required
* Managing a busy incoming call system
* Responding efficiently and professionally to clients
* Maintaining accurate documentation
* Providing assistance to new clients with our processes
* Logging new applications onto our system
* Lodging approvals and final certificates onto councils online portals
* Processing certificates
* Booking inspections
* Filing / internal data management
You must be willing to hit the ground running and take ownership of the role.

* Experience within the residential building industry is highly advantageous
* Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently
* Adaptable to change
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with stakeholders at all levels
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Visual Approvals will be highly regarded
* Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions closely
* A long term commitment and desire to grow with our company
* Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application
Communication is key - excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with homeowners, internal teams, builders and Local Government. You are also adept at identifying and addressing issues and have meticulous attention to detail in documentation.
