Occupational Healthcare Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Healthcare Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Mackay.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in occupational health and the ability to provide high-quality healthcare services to workers. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide occupational healthcare services to workers in accordance with best practice standards.
* Assess potential workers before they commence employment, verifying medical history and conducting basic examinations as necessary.
* Medically manage workplace injuries to ensure effective return-to-work outcomes.
Requirements:
* Full unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
* Ideal Examining Medical Officer (Coal Board Medical) qualification or willingness to complete training.
* Medical indemnity insurance.
* Valid national police clearance.
