Retail Store Supervisor
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Retail Store Supervisor at our Roadhouse- Burdekin Duck Roadhouse and Campground. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, developing local marketing and in-store promotional activities, controlling the recruitment, selection and training of staff, formulating and implementing daily operating procedures to ensure the store is adequately stocked, organized, and well kept.
Key Responsibilities:
* To oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing cash handling and inventory control.
* To develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
* To recruit, select, train and manage a team of retail staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service.
* To formulate and implement daily operating procedures to ensure the store is adequately stocked, organized, and well kept.
* To determine which products are to be stocked and in what quantities, based on sales data and market trends.
* To liaise and negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible deals.
* To maintain quality brand image standards as passed evaluations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A deep understanding of retail operations and management principles.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant experience in a similar field, preferably in retail management or a related industry.
