Job Summary
This Human Resources Officer position is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for employees, taking phone calls and responding to HR-related queries.
Key Responsibilities
* Taking Phone Calls and Responding to Queries: Provide administrative support by taking phone calls and responding to manager and employee queries via email and internal systems.
* Triage and Escalation: Triage incoming requests and determine the appropriate response or escalation.
* HR Policy and Procedure: Provide accurate and timely information regarding HR policies, leave, benefits, and procedures.
* Workday Management: Record and track enquiries using Workday.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with HR Services, Workday Support, HR Business Partners, and other teams to resolve issues.
* Policies and Legislation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and employment legislation.
Requirements
* Experience: Experience in an HR support role.
* Communication: Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner.
* Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Workday: Experience using Workday.
* HR Knowledge: Understanding of HR policies or employment legislation is an advantage.
