The Role
As a Junior Accountant, you will work closely with experienced accountants and partners, contributing to various projects while developing practical skills essential for your CA studies. This is a chance to grow professionally, take on responsibility, and be part of a diverse, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tax and Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
2. Financial Reporting: Collaborate on monthly reports, forecasts, and analysis for clients.
3. Client Engagement: Develop relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and support.
4. Learning & Development: Stay up to date with accounting standards and tax regulations through hands-on work and mentorship from senior team members.
5. Software Use: Gain experience in popular accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB.
What We’re Looking For
1. 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
2. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
3. Familiarity with accounting software and the desire to learn new tools.
4. Enthusiasm for the CA program (current enrollment is a plus).
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
