AM Allocator – Park Ridge Depot | 2:00 AM Start | Full Time
Early mornings are where the day is won or lost in transport.
We're looking for an AM Allocator to join our operations team at our Park Ridge depot, starting at 2:00 AM. This role sits right at the front end of the day — setting the tone, allocating resources, and making sure trucks and drivers roll out smoothly and on time.
If you're organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable working early hours in a fast-moving environment, this is a key role with real responsibility.
What the role is responsible for
As the AM Allocator, you'll be managing the early-morning allocation and coordination of fleet and drivers, ensuring the day starts clean and stays on track.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Allocating drivers, trucks, and work for the day's runs
* Coordinating linehaul and local departures
* Communicating directly with drivers — clear, professional, and practical
* Managing last-minute changes and problem-solving as the day unfolds
* Monitoring schedules, departure times, and compliance requirements
* Working closely with depot staff, dispatch, and other allocators
* Ensuring all allocation details are accurate and recorded correctly
* Setting up the operation so the daytime team can take over cleanly
This role requires someone who can make decisions early, keep things organised, and handle pressure without letting it spill into the operation.
