We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Business Analyst for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Financial Reform project, focusing on analysing, documenting, and improving financial processes across the organisation. This is an exciting chance to contribute to a large-scale transformation initiative with significant organisational impact.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Documentation: Analyse and document current and future state financial processes, as well as impacted business processes across the organisation.Impact Assessments: Conduct comprehensive impact assessments across finance business units and the wider organisation to identify areas of change and improvement.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with stakeholders from finance business units to ensure business needs are clearly understood, captured, and addressed.Process Development: Design and develop new financial processes that align with future state financial systems and support organisational goals.Change Management Support: Provide insights and recommendations to facilitate smooth transitions during the implementation of new financial systems and processes.
Experience & Skills Required
Financial Process Expertise: Strong background in analysing financial processes and conducting detailed business process mapping.Impact Analysis Proficiency: Proven experience in performing impact analysis and change assessments across finance business units and broader organisational areas.Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with finance teams and other business units, ensuring alignment between business needs and project outcomes.Transformation Project Experience: Hands-on experience working on large-scale transformation projects with high organisational impact.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex current-state processes into clear insights for designing future-state solutions.
Additional Requirements
A valid National Police Check (NPC) issued within the last six months is required prior to commencement.
