Job Description Your New Role The EPMO Manager will support Development Victoria’s effort to apply fundamental principles of enterprise project management through implementation and maintenance of the Project Management Framework (PMF). Your role will involve spearheading the establishment of a resilient PMF for the Civics, Precincts, and Housing portfolio within Development Victoria. Your responsibilities include delivering top-notch reporting, offering strategic advisory support, and collaborating with project teams to optimise delivery efficiency. Please note, this is a 12-month FTC. Core Accountabilities: Implement the PMF and associated frameworks and support facilitation to project teams. Contribute to the promotion and implementation of project management methodology, standards, templates, and tools. Conduct project assurance processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and strategic imperatives. Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities for the EPMO's service delivery model. Develop best practice project delivery processes for scheduling, cost control, risk management, and document control. Program risks and issues monitoring, escalating key risks and issues to the EPMO Director. Provide EPMO service to DV's portfolio, including Governance, Scope Management, Schedule Management, and Program Assurance. Provide secretariat support for key DV Portfolio and Program Governance committees as needed. Establish a robust document control system, maintain a management reporting database, and ensure consistent project reporting. Lead and manage all project and program reporting requirements for Civics, Precincts, or Housing division. Develop and maintain Terms of Reference for Project Governance Forums. Manage and report on actions resulting from internal and external quality assurance reviews. Display strong stakeholder management skills and lead a small team of skilled professionals. Support cultural change within the assigned division and across DV as the PMF is embedded. Desired Skills and Experience About You We are seeking a confident, results-driven EPMO Manager with extensive expertise in project governance and reporting overseeing complex reporting and governance across multiple projects Additionally, the candidate will also assist in the successful implementation of the Project Management Framework. The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management skills, be highly adaptable, flexible and take a proactive approach to driving excellence in a dynamic environment. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Experience in project management, from conception to delivery and have a broad knowledge of project and program management methodologies Experience in working in a Government Project Management Office. A strong knowledge of Project Governance and Reporting Frameworks and processes. Strong capacity to foster and develop relationships with key stakeholders at senior levels across all sectors of government and industry. Proficient in advanced data analysis and presentation, utilizing reporting tools such as Microsoft Office, Tableau, and Power BI. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and people management skills particularly in respect to building, coaching, developing and managing cross-functional teams.
