Support Staff for Inclusive Classrooms
A Catholic education organization is seeking dedicated support staff to work with students who have disabilities and additional learning needs. The roles involve collaborating closely with teachers to create inclusive environments that cater to the diverse requirements of learners.
The successful applicants will possess relevant qualifications, a strong passion for supporting students with special needs, and a commitment to upholding Catholic education values. They will also be able to work effectively in teams, communicate clearly, and provide individualized support when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies for creating inclusive classroom environments
* Provide one-on-one support and small group instruction as required by students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
* Foster positive relationships between students, parents/guardians, teachers, other school staff members
Required Qualifications:
* Diploma or degree in Education Support or related field
* Status as Australian resident/ citizen
