This role is part time (14.5 hours per week) over 3 to 4 days, available initially as a non-ongoing opportunity for up to 18 months. A merit pool will be created and used to fill similar vacancies if they arise for both ongoing and non-ongoing opportunities. Future opportunities may be filled in full-time, part-time or job share arrangements.
What you will do as the Senior Content Designer
Duties
As the Senior Content Designer, you will lead content design projects and support the team's publishing function. Your duties will include to:
* Write, edit, design and proofread content whilst making sure published content meets user needs, including usability, accessibility, readability and writing style standards.
* Engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels to ensure content is accurate and relevant, and user needs are met.
* Provide content design guidance and leadership in the team and to others in the agency.
* Identify opportunities to improve website content and lead improvements.
About You
In order to succeed in the role, you will have:
* Strong writing, content designing, editing and proofreading skills.
* Ability to design and implement user focused solutions to website and content problems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with and provide guidance to team members and stakeholders.
* Ability to lead and work efficiently and effectively across multiple tasks and projects.
* A minimum of three years' experience in a similar content design role.

Salary: APS6 $99,562 - $111,590 (plus 15.4% superannuation) Note: listed salaries are based on full time hours and will be pro rata for part time hours
