Our goal is to offer a streamlined, supportive, and empowering experience for veterans transitioning from the Australian Defence Force.
The department also supports RSL Queensland's 10 Districts and over 230 Sub-Branches across the state.The Team Leader - Employment Program supports the Head of Vocational Programs, Employment Program Manager, Senior Employment Consultants, and Employment Consultants in delivering the RSL Employment Program nationally.
Reporting to the Employment Program Manager, your responsibilities include program delivery, case coordination, client management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership, with a focus on administration, compliance, risk management, professional development, and WH&S.
You will work at our Brisbane and Stafford sites during the week.You will play a key role in improving career opportunities and employment outcomes through tailored career education activities and employability programs.
Leading a small team, you will represent and promote Service Delivery to the veteran community.
Your ability to engage, lead, and motivate your team will ensure the delivery of high-quality employment services to veterans and their families.Ideally, you will hold formal qualifications in Allied Health, Vocational Education, Human Services, Social Services, or Human Resources.
Significant professional experience in these areas is essential.
If you do not already have your Certificate IV in Career Development, you should be eager to obtain it during your tenure.
Your experience in mentoring, leading, motivating teams, case management, and employment services will set you up for success.
