As a Mixing/Batching Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our production line runs smoothly and meets the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, from conducting pre-operational checks, meticulously batching and mixing ingredients according to established recipes, cleaning and to identifying opportunities for improvement and training new team members.

Batching of Raw Ingredients:

· Batch raw ingredients according to production schedules, including new product development trials.

· Inspect ingredients for any contaminants, out-of-spec (not meeting specifications) issues, or non-compliance with quality standards and report to Production Supervisor.

· Manage raw ingredient inventory and filling out the requisition form. Ensure sufficient stock is available before preparation, adhering to First-In-First-Out (FIFO)

· Follow recipe procedures set by the Quality Manager and perform quality checks including recording.

· Manage butter inventory. Thaw and cube butter using butter machine. Clean and sanitise butter machine after every use.

Mixing into Dough:

· Batch bulk raw ingredients according to production schedules, including new product development trials.

· Inspect ingredients for any contaminants, out-of-spec (not meeting specifications) issues, or non-compliance with quality standards and report to Production Supervisor.

· Transfer of raw ingredients into the mixer and adding required water volume achieving optimum dough quality based on texture, appearance and elasticity.

· Follow recipe procedures set by the Quality Manager and perform quality checks including recording.

· Transfer dough by pushing mixing bowl from mixer to tipper / chunker and transferring dough into the hopper.
