The Role
As a Support Coordinator at TAFE SA, you'll play a key role in delivering student-centred services while also supporting team operations and mentoring frontline staff. Key responsibilities include:
* Provide accurate, timely, and student-focused customer service, resolving complex enquiries and escalating when needed
* Supervise and assist support officers, including mentoring and coaching
* Assist Team Leaders with workforce planning and resource coordination
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement across service delivery
* Ensure the effective implementation and ongoing review of policies, procedures, and systems
* Perform complex administrative functions to support core business operations
* Maintain accurate and compliant records, ensuring data security and integrity
This is an ideal role for someone with strong administrative or customer service experience who's ready to step up into a coordinator-level position with scope to lead, mentor, and drive improvements.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
* Out of hours work will be required
* Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
* Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
* The incumbent may be required to attend promotional events such as; IE events, Expos, Career Days, Field Days and School Engagement (internal tours/external events), when required.
* The incumbent may be required to work in different teams as workload demand changes.
