If you enjoy working with private clients but want more variety, visibility and meaningful work - this is your next step.
At Mutual Trust, you'll use your technical expertise in a way that goes beyond compliance. You'll help successful families understand their financial world, make informed decisions and plan for what matters most. This isn't about churning through returns – it's about connecting the dots across structures, strategy, cashflow, investments and family goals.
What You'll Do
Working closely with an experienced Director and Partners, you will:
* Manage a small portfolio of sophisticated private clients and build trusted relationships.
* Turn complex financial and structural information into clear insights clients can act on.
* Support entity and trust management, cashflow planning and wealth structuring.
* Coordinate with specialists across tax, legal, investments and governance to deliver integrated solutions.
* Prepare high-quality papers for client meetings and contribute confidently to those discussions.
* Spot opportunities to improve how we deliver service and simplify complexity for clients.
* Play an active role in refining how our team operates, bringing ideas that enhance client experience and collaboration.
This is hands-on, relationship-focused work with exposure to strategy, governance and intergenerational planning – a rare opportunity to broaden your career.
Who we're looking for
You're a tax or accounting professional with private client experience who wants to step out of traditional compliance and into broader, more strategic work.
You'll bring:
* A degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce or Law (CA/CPA highly regarded).
* Around 5 years' experience in tax, business services, private wealth or similar.
* Solid technical capability across trusts, entities and private client structures.
* Curiosity, sound judgement and genuine care for clients.
* A proactive, organised way of working — you follow through and get things done.
