About the Role

As a Youth Worker in our Nambour team, you will take the lead on all operational aspects of delivering our Get Set for Work project. In partnership with our Registered Training Organisation (RTO), this project combines accredited training with personalised support to help young people between the ages of 15 and 19 prepare for and secure sustainable employment.

You will oversee participant recruitment, non-accredited work readiness training, and program reporting. At its core, this role is about empowering young people to gain nationally recognised skills and vocational qualifications, supporting them to take a potentially life-changing step toward their future careers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting participants with a range of personal, social and employment barriers
- Developing individual training and personal development plans
- Building strong connections with RTOs, local employers and community partners to create opportunities
- Maintaining accurate case notes, program reporting and compliance documentation

What you will bring:

- Certificate IV or equivalent experience in Community Services, Employment Services, Youth Work, Training or a related sector
- Knowledge of the labour market and the challenges faced by young people entering or re-entering the workforce
- Resilience, empathy and the ability to support participants with complex barriers
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with young people, employers and partners
- Strong IT and administration skills, including case noting and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time, priorities and detail effectively

Benefits and Perks

- Salary Package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free, and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
- Use your pre-tax income to purchase a new or used car, saving on both the purchase price and running costs

- Discounted family gym memberships through Fitness Passport
- Supportive induction and learning opportunities
