You'll be leading the charge on new features, as well as bringing a fresh perspective to the site as it is.The successful candidate is someone who has creative vision, an aesthetic eye, has used data-driven insights to innovate on their work, and is comfortable championing their ideas in a constructive forum.
While there will be collaboration with development, graphics and the wider digital team, you will be the authority on user experience.Note that this is an in-office position - you will need to be located in travelling distance of our head office.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign of new features for the website to be both the most usable customer experience, and a seamless extension of the White Fox brandHolistic redesign of existing areas of the siteSetting up analytics, including identifying the metrics, proposing A/B tests, and presenting the results, to inform refinements and improvementsUsing Photoshop/Illustrator to fabricate assets for the websiteCollaborating with other departments, like graphics, marketing and analytics to create on-brand, engaging and seamless experiencesRequirements4-5 years experience in web-design platforms (e.g. Figma/Zeplin), especially with knowledge of techniques to improve collaboration with developers4-5 years experience in gaining data-driven insights and mocking up wireframes using this analyticsStrong experience in designing for ecommerce websites and awareness of ecommerce concernsAbility to think through edge cases and pre-emptively design for cases like form feedback, errors, and interactionProficiency with Illustrator/Photoshop for graphic designReadiness to work mobile-first and responsivelyGreat communication skills, to break down and support UX decisions for the wider teamFirm opinions about what to prioritise and the rationale behind design decisionsStrong attention to detail, with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual design principlesHighly regardedRetail/fashion experienceBenefitsFun and supportive team cultureGenerous monthly clothing allowance + ongoing discountsFun events throughout the yearFull Access to our in office White Fox Active GymWorking with one of Australia's fastest growing fashion companiesSeniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Employment type Full-timeJob function Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information TechnologyIndustries RetailReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at White Fox Boutique by 2xSign in to set job alerts for "Senior User Experience Designer" roles.
