Overview
Fever is a leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment. This role contributes to Fever's mission by providing world-class venue services to partners and overseeing the lifecycle of relevant venues in the region.
Responsibilities
* Scouting & Contracting:
o Develop briefs for property agents, landlords, developers
o Build and maintain network of agents, landlords, developers
o Identify venue opportunities, inspect them, and perform due diligence with internal and external stakeholders
o Negotiate terms with landlords
o Progress contractual terms involving Fever legal team and business stakeholders
o Fill in relevant information in Salesforce scouting database
* Finance & Metrics Management:
o Maintain and report monthly venues P&Ls
o Track OPEX, CAPEX, and revenue (rentals, grants, etc.)
o Introduce and manage cost-saving measures
o Process venue invoices and ensure timely payment
o Allocate pass-through costs correctly (e.g., electricity) to projects/partners
o Log consumables use and forecast costs
* Venue Portfolio Management:
o Keep venue documentation and tech specs updated for internal/external stakeholders
o Ensure compliance with Venue Management Plan, occupancy permit and DA requirements (e.g., liquor license, renewals), and legal/regulatory standards (e.g., noise, disability access)
o Oversee maintenance, health, and security: source providers, coordinate preventive/corrective maintenance, manage quotes and contractor appointments, maintain maintenance/security trackers
o Draft agreement templates in conjunction with the Legal team
o Manage and coordinate site visits with partners
* Events Management (with FO/partners):
o Collaborate with Fever PMs, Producers, Ops to meet compliance standards
o Maintain venue listings and respond to rental inquiries
o Support liquor and development application processes
o Assist in sourcing venue-related services (cleaning, maintenance, etc.)
o Monitor booking tracker and manage venue hires: serve as point of contact for partners and onboard hirers, respond to rental inquiries, manage hire process
Qualifications
* Passionate with strong drive and ownership, hands-on and willing to do what it takes to succeed
* At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing venues and/or warehouses including related legislation; ideally hosting events in such buildings
* Alternative background in management consulting
* Strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships
* Excellent face-to-face communication skills
* Highly organized with strong time management
* Financial proficiency and business acumen
* Problem-solver with the ability to think strategically and act efficiently on-site
* Collaborative approach and willingness to work on varied tasks
* Strong academic background is a plus
* Experience with real estate scouting, negotiations, construction, and permitting is a plus
* Domestic travel is likely to be required
