About The Role
As Procurement Officer you will provide essential support to project managers and procurement teams. You will play a key role in coordinating procurement processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring activities align with legislative and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level support across end-to-end procurement processesCoordinate engagement of contingent workers via the Fieldglass platformMaintain registers, spreadsheets, and reporting systems with accurate and timely updatesAssist in the preparation and management of tendering and contract processesSupport asset management activities including procurement, stocktakes, lifecycle reviews, and disposalsContribute to improving local processes and ensuring compliance with operational requirementsEnsure adherence to relevant legislation, policies (including WH&S), and governance frameworksSupport the Senior Advisor (Procurement) and broader procurement team
About You
Previous experience in procurement, contract administration, or program supportStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data and documentationExperience working with systems such as SAP, Fieldglass, or similar (highly regarded)Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsUnderstanding of government processes and compliance requirements (desirable)
