We are looking for experienced Electronics Repair Technician to support our Electrical Maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you'll keep machinery running smoothly, minimise downtime, and ensure our systems and equipment meet the highest safety and performance standards.

Position Summary
The Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and testing electronic systems and components. This position ensures critical electrical and electronic equipment is functioning safely, efficiently and in accordance with operational and regulatory standards. This position supports production continuity by minimising downtime and contributing to high quality vessel construction and maintenance
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Attributes
* Certificate III in Electronics and Communications (desirable)
* Understanding of electronic circuitry
* Experience in component level diagnosis of electronic circuits
* Confident in the use of the following diagnostic equipment (desirable):
Analogue Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter (DMM), Digital Storage Oscilloscope (DSO)
* Current White Card.
* Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
* A demonstrated strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair welding machine electronic faults to component level
* Interpret circuit behaviour and isolate faults systematically
* Conduct routine maintenance, testing and calibration of electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals to support troubleshooting and repair activities
* Use diagnostic equipment to validate faults and confirm repairs
* Maintain accurate service records, repair logs and documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements
