Boekeman Machinery is looking for enthusiastic Junior Parts Consultants to join our Northam branch. This full-time role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in agricultural machinery sales and customer service.
Experience not required
All training will be provided, including the opportunity to complete - Cert III in Automotive Sales - Online, through Central Regional TAFE, and on the job training.
All you need is a positive attitude & willingness to learn
Hours
* Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm - 1 hour Lunch Break
* After 6 month - Saturday Morning Roster - 8.00 - 12.00pm in Busy Periods (Seeding & Harvest)
What you'll be doing
* Providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers in-store and over the phone
* Processing orders, preparing quotes, and handling payments
* Managing parts inventory and placing orders to meet customer demand
* Organising and displaying parts and accessories in the retail space
* Supporting the sales team with cross-selling and upselling opportunities
* Contributing to a positive, team-focused work environment
What we're looking for
* Communication and interpersonal skills - be confident and comfortable speaking to customers face to face and on the phone & working within a team.
* Attention to detail - good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Proficient in using computer systems and technology
* A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
* An interest in farming, agriculture and the local community.
* Current Forklift license - or willingness to obtain if successful
* Current WA Driver's License
* Ability to lift and move parts weighing up to 20kg and stand for extended periods
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role or experience/interest in agriculture, farming, machinery or automotive parts industry would be highly desirable.
