Job Title: Key Account Manager for Engineering and Construction
* Contact and engage with key decision-makers within the engineering and construction industries on a regular basis to build relationships and stay informed about market trends.
* Provide weekly sales activity reports to management, detailing upcoming project tenders and associated budgets for mechanical systems and equipment.
* Create and maintain detailed databases for all engineering firms and commercial contractors, containing essential contact information and relevant details.
* Stay up-to-date with new product offerings and changes, communicating this information in a timely manner to customers and stakeholders.
* Presentation delivery for select equipment and products as required, focusing on showcasing their benefits and value proposition.
* Identify and resolve instances where ECCO Supply products are not specified in customer projects.
* Maintain ongoing communication with engineers, consultants, designers, architects, builders, and developers to stay current with industry developments and anticipate emerging trends.
* Dedicate oneself to providing exceptional customer service, ensuring repeat business and fostering strong relationships with ECCO Supply customers and affiliates.
* Create and maintain a comprehensive database for commercial contractors, similar in scope to the engineering firms' database.
* Assist in delivering new product training sessions for engineers and contractors.
* Regular attendance at ASHRAE meetings and factory training seminars as necessary to enhance knowledge and skills.
* Conduct site visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to supplied equipment, while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Develop strategic plans to improve employee engagement, communication, and training, working closely with management and supervisors.
* Foster strong relationships with key customers, providing technical support and solutions tailored to their needs.
* Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, adapting strategies accordingly to drive growth and meet sales targets.
* Deliver sales reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting achievements and opportunities for improvement.
* Mentor and train team members on technical and sales skills, contributing to their development and success.
* Support the bidding and proposal process, collaborating with internal and external partners as needed.
* Participate in trade shows organized by ECCO, suppliers, and customers, promoting products and services.
* Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.
