Job Description
Minor Hotels are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager – WA & NT to lead corporate, government, MICE and leisure sales across our Western Australia and Northern Territory portfolio.
Reporting to the Area Director of Sales – SA/WA/NT, this role is responsible for executing group sales strategies that maximise occupancy, room revenue, and catering and events revenue across a diverse portfolio of properties. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role for a commercially minded sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
* Drive corporate, government, MICE and leisure revenue across WA and NT properties
* Grow existing accounts while actively developing new business (70/30 focus)
* Implement group sales strategies to maximise occupancy and profitability
* Analyse market trends, competitor activity and forward occupancy
* Manage and maintain key client relationships through face-to-face and virtual engagement
* Work closely with Hotel Managers, Revenue, Marketing and Commercial teams
* Attend industry events, trade shows and networking functions
* Ensure accurate reporting, CRM management and data integrity
* Identify cross-selling opportunities across the Minor Hotels portfolio
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a Business Development or Sales Manager role within hospitality or tourism
* Demonstrated success in increasing revenue and building strong client portfolios
* Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Highly organised with excellent time management and planning capability
* Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader sales team
* Professional presentation and a proactive, service-driven mindset
