An established resources operation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its site-based team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. Operating on a 4:3 day shift FIFO roster from Darwin or Cairns, this role partners closely with operational leaders to deliver financial insights, analysis, and reporting that support informed decision‑making, strong cost control, and sustainable business performance in a dynamic, asset‑intensive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering accurate and timely reporting, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
* Translating financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights
* Enhancing cost visibility and supporting value improvement initiatives
* Strengthening financial processes, tools, and reporting capability, including Power BI
* Supporting leaders with financial analysis to drive disciplined performance
About You
* Strong experience partnering with operational stakeholders in a complex environment
* The ability to communicate financial information clearly and practically
* Confidence influencing and supporting leaders to maintain financial discipline
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
* A continuous improvement mindset with a solutions‑focused approach
Qualifications
* CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
