Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our project team based in Norwest, Sydney, working on a flagship data‐centre campus built for the future of cloud and AI. With up to 96MW of total capacity, fast go‐live capability, and the flexibility to support everything from air‐cooled racks to leading edge liquid and immersion cooling, SYD1 is designed to scale with next‐generation workloads. Backed by a strong sustainability focus, delivering industry‐leading efficiency, low water use and reduced emissions, SYD1 offers a rare opportunity to be part of a high‐impact project shaping Australia's digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Proactively manage construction programmes to ensure project milestones are met.
* Ensure smooth project delivery by working closely with site managers and holding subcontractor and supply chain partner coordination meetings.
* Support project delivery from planning through to construction by reviewing designs, identifying risks and opportunities to align with budget targets.
* Take ownership of quality assurance procedures, ensuring finished works perform in accordance with client requirements.

Your Skills and Experience
* You hold a Construction Management or Engineering degree or related qualifications.
* You have 3+ years construction industry experience in engineering and project delivery roles.
* Experience on mission‐critical or complex projects is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with site teams and subcontractors.
